From the back cover

Luna bounces through the blanket fort again and again. Then Panda lies down. “Stop, please,” he says. “I need some space.” Luna stops her paws. “Stop means stop. Space can help.” When Panda is rested, Luna asks if he would like company. Soon one small paw rests beside one large paw.

About this book

To Luna, “stop” sounds as if Panda might be mad at her. This story takes on exactly that worry. Panda is clear that he isn’t mad, and Luna gets something to do while she waits: a clover nest, a ladybug to watch, and no more tapping.

It is a good pick for siblings, playdates, and any child who loves full-body hugs. Afterward, practice Luna’s question together, “Can my paw touch yours?”, and what it sounds like to hear a yes or a no.
