From the back cover

Tall sunflowers make a twisty maze, and Luna races in. The path ends. It ends again! Thump go her paws. Her feeling roars! Panda sits close beside her. “Name it. Breathe. Choose what comes next.” Soon Luna is following little yellow ribbons out into the sunshine.

About this book

Luna doesn’t stay calm here. Her paws thump, and she roars, “This is a mean, mean maze!” Panda doesn’t fix the maze for her. He asks what the roar is called, and Luna has the word.

Read it on an easy day first, so the words are familiar when a hard day comes. Point out how the roar turns into a rumble before it goes quiet. By the last page, Luna is the one leading Panda, and she wants to go through the maze again.
